Annotated Cambodian Code of Criminal Procedure' launched25 March 2014 - An official launch of the ‘Annotated Cambodian Code of Criminal Procedure’ was held on 25 March 2014 in Phnom Penh. The production of the Annotated Code is the result of joint collaboration between Office of the High Commissioner of Human Rights (OHCHR), the UK Embassy, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the East-West Management Institute (EWMI). Around 80 articles of the Cambodian Code of Criminal Procedure have been annotated by a team of legal experts from various countries using mainly ECCC jurisprudence, but also international jurisprudence and comparative national jurisprudence from France. The project which originated in the Office of the Co-Prosecutors at the ECCC took several years to complete.
