PHNOM PENH (18 May 2015) – The Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) responded to an op-ed – written jointly by the heads of OHCHR, UNICEF, UNFPA and UN Women – that was published in the Phnom Penh Post on 12 May 2015 and entitled, “The Importance of Trust”. In a letter addressed to the four UN agencies, MoFAIC stated that the UN should “perform your activities by respecting the UN Charter and your specific mandate.” Read the full letter here.
