25 April 2012 -United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay expressed concern about recent moves in a number of countries, including Cambodia, that narrow the space for non-government organizations to operate independently and effectively. In a press statement, Pillay however welcomed the Cambodian Government's commitment to pursue further consultation on the draft NGO law. Read the press release in English | Khmer
