18 January 2010 - The United Nations Special Rapporteur on the human rights situation in Cambodia begins his second official visit to the country today. He will remain in Cambodia until 30 January and will travel to Battambang towards the end of the mission. His visit will focus on state institutions mandated to provide remedies for human rights violations, including the judiciary and the Supreme Council of Magistracy, the National Assembly and Senate and the Constitutional Council.
