PHNOM PENH (20 August 2015) – The new Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Cambodia, Rhona Smith, has released this year's annual report to the UN Human Rights Council. Ms. Smith will be in Cambodia for her inaugural mission on 17-24 September 2015 since assuming the mandate on 1 May 2015. The report, which was submitted by the deadline of 8 June 2015 for documents for the 30th session of the Council, will be complemented by the findings of the Special Rapporteur from her upcoming mission.
