UPR 18th session31 January 2014 – During the 18th session of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) Working Group of the United Nations Human Rights Council, Cambodia's review took place as planned on Tuesday, 28 January 2014.
During the review, the UPR Working Group in Geneva made 206 recommendations to Cambodia to improve its human rights situation in the country. The Cambodian delegation accepted 172 out of 206 recommendations, and deferred its responses to 34 recommendations until the Human Rights Council's next session in June 2014.
