21 June 2011 - The OHCHR in Cambodia and Pannasastra University of Cambodia (PUC) will hold a public lecture on the Srebrenica Genocide -- one of the worst atrocities committed in Europe since World War II, in which over 8,000 Muslim men and boys were killed in Srebrenica, a town in Bosnia-Herzegovina. International Prosecutor Andrew Cayley will deliver the lecture, which considers the conduct of investigations and the legal issues related to prosecuting genocide at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia. This lecture will have special relevance for those interested in understanding the charge of genocide, which is currently being brought before the four alleged senior leaders in Case 002 before the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia. The lecture will be held on 30 June 2011, 6 - 7 p.m. at the PUC Srey Dim Conference Hall, PUC campus, No. 184 Norodom Boulevard. More information about the lecture in English
